He received the B.E. degree from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (formerly Malaviya Regional Engineering College), Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and M.E. Tel.E. (Computer Engineering) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in 1988 and 1999 respectively.
